OneBudget ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app uses, where it is stored, and how it is handled.
1. Data we process
1.1 Data you create in the app
When you use OneBudget, you create and store:
- Budgets (e.g. name, limit, optional end date, optional savings goal)
- Expenses (amount, date, category, optional note)
This data is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data on our own servers.
1.2 Data we do not collect
We do not collect:
- Name or email address collected automatically by the app (no account is required; a technical pseudonymous subscription identifier is described below)
- Payment-card or bank-account details (payments are handled by Apple; subscription records are described below)
- GPS location data or device location permissions (subscription country information is described below)
- Advertising identifiers or tracking for third-party ads (the app does not show third-party advertising)
2. Where your data is stored
- On your device: All budget and expense data is stored locally in the app’s storage (and in the shared container used by the OneBudget widget).
- In your iCloud account (optional): If your device is signed into iCloud and the app uses iCloud sync, a copy of your data may be stored in your iCloud account in accordance with Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit terms. This data is tied to your Apple ID and is not accessible to us.
We do not operate servers that store your budget or expense data.
3. How we use your data
Budget and expense content is used for the app’s budgeting features and is not transmitted to RevenueCat. Subscription transaction information is used for purchase validation and subscription analysis as described in section 4. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Apple processes subscription payments. We use RevenueCat to validate and analyse subscription transactions, including the purchased product, transaction identifiers, purchase and renewal dates, trial and subscription status, price, currency and storefront country when available. RevenueCat assigns a technical, pseudonymous app user ID. The SDK also processes app and device technical information; RevenueCat may derive the country from the connection IP address when a transaction country is unavailable. We do not send your name, email address or customer attributes to RevenueCat. Automatic collection of device identifiers and optional SDK diagnostics are disabled.
We use this information to understand subscriptions, renewals and purchase problems. Premium access continues to be determined by verified Apple transactions. We do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat is not used to advertise to you or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
No budgets, expenses, budget names, categories or notes are sent to RevenueCat. The price and billing period displayed by Apple when you purchase apply. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel renewal through your Apple account settings.
5. Notifications
- The app can send local notifications (e.g. daily reminder, 80% budget alert) that are scheduled on your device.
- If you use iCloud sync, push notifications may be used so the app can stay in sync. These are handled by Apple’s services; we do not use the content of your data in notification payloads for any purpose other than sync.
6. Service providers
Apple provides iCloud, App Store purchasing and system notification services. See the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
RevenueCat processes the subscription information described in section 4. See RevenueCat’s privacy information (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). Your budget and expense content is not sent to RevenueCat. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.
Subscription support and international processing
You can find a technical purchase-support reference in the app settings when subscription reporting is enabled. You choose whether to include it in a support message to contact@moodapps.fr. If you send it, we may associate that reference with your email to handle your request; it should not be treated as an anonymous record in that context. The reference alone is not proof of ownership. We do not add your email or the content of your support message as RevenueCat customer attributes.
RevenueCat processes subscription information on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum (https://www.revenuecat.com/dpa), which forms part of its service agreement. Processing takes place in the United States, with the contractual transfer safeguards described in that addendum where applicable. Apple and your email provider handle their respective services separately.
You can ask us about access, correction, deletion or objection concerning subscription information. Removing a RevenueCat record does not cancel an Apple subscription. A later restore, purchase or synchronization can recreate subscription information; we will explain the applicable scope and follow-up when handling your request. Do not send an Apple password, payment-card details or personal content from the app.
Purposes, retention and privacy requests
Mehdi Oudghiri is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Where the GDPR applies, providing the app and handling purchase-support requests relies on performance of the service you request. Subscription performance analysis and investigation of purchase problems rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving a sustainable app business. This analysis is limited to subscription records; it does not analyse your personal content or determine your paid access. We do not use this information for advertising or decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We retain identifiable subscription information while needed for subscription support, renewal analysis or resolving a purchase dispute. We review inactive records and remove or anonymise information that is no longer needed for these purposes, subject to applicable legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle and document the request. Apple retains its own purchase records under its own policies.
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, by emailing contact@moodapps.fr. We assess requests individually and normally respond within one month; if an extension is permitted and necessary, we explain why. You can also complain to your data-protection authority, including the CNIL in France (https://www.cnil.fr).
Deleting existing RevenueCat information and stopping future processing are separate requests. RevenueCat documents that deleting a customer removes the existing record, but continued app use, a purchase or a restoration can recreate subscription information. We explain this distinction when handling a request and do not represent deletion as cancellation of your Apple subscription or an automatic permanent block on future processing.
7. Data retention and deletion
You can delete budget and expense content in the app. Uninstalling removes local app data; iCloud data and files you exported may remain separately. Turning off iCloud does not by itself guarantee deletion of previously stored cloud data.
Subscription records handled by RevenueCat are separate from the content stored on your device and in your iCloud. Uninstalling the app does not by itself erase subscription records from Apple or RevenueCat. You can contact us about access to or deletion of your subscription information. We may need information sufficient to locate your technical subscription record; do not send your Apple password, payment-card details or the personal content stored in the app.
Deleting a RevenueCat customer record does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel renewal through your Apple subscription settings. Apple applies its own retention policies to purchase records.
8. Security
- The app uses the device’s built-in security (e.g. passcode, Face ID) and Apple’s encryption for storage and, when used, iCloud.
- We do not transmit your budget or expense data to our own servers.
9. Children
OneBudget is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data in the app, please contact us and we will help address the situation.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. For significant changes, we may notify you in the app or via the App Store listing.
11. Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy or your data, you can contact us at:

We will respond as soon as practicable.
